As football snuck onto Wednesday’s WISE Sports Radio baseball segment, baseball upstages football on Thursday with news of Carlos Beltran stepping down as New York Mets manager (probably before he was fired) after his role in the Houston Astros’ sign-stealing scandal was exposed.
Pat Ryan, Mike Gore, and I do get to football, however, discussing the Centennial Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Odell Beckham Jr. passing out straight cash, homey. We also talk more about Matt Rhule as the Carolina Panthers’ new head coach and Sunday’s NFL conference championship games.
Considering how terrible my picks typically are, it’s probably not bold to predict the Tennessee Titans upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs. (Chiefs fans can plan a trip to the Super Bowl now!) But I’m putting it out there. The Titans have been the surprise of the NFL playoffs and I think that will continue for one more game.
Thanks to WISE Sports Radio for allowing me to post this on my site, along with Mars Hill University (which sponsors the stream), host Pat Ryan, and D.C. Creasman Jewelers for sponsoring my NFL segment.
