After a two-week break from posting radio clips here (due to a combination of writing workload, general August malaise, and giving myself a breather), we are back!
On WISE Sports Radio‘s baseball segment, Pat Ryan and I discussed the formidable Chicago White Sox and what made me circle them as a playoff team before the season. Then we highlighted the most surprising and most disappointing teams of the MLB season thus far:
Pat announced on Facebook last week that he was undergoing chemotherapy again after taking immunotherapy treatments for the last year-and-a-half. He’ll still be doing The WISE Guys show, but will cut back a bit each week. I’m glad he can be so open with his audience and hope he and his wife get all the support he needs. I’ll do whatever I can to help with that.
You can listen to The WISE Guys from 3 to 6 p.m. ET streaming on wisesportsradio.com or the TuneIn app. Locally in the Asheville area, dial up 1310 or 970 AM and 102.9 FM.
Thanks to WISE Sports Radio for allowing me to post this on my site, along with Mars Hill University for sponsoring the streaming broadcast.
