Baseball talk is back on WISE Sports Radio after Pat Ryan’s much-deserved week off. And MLB had another COVID-19 breakout since last we spoke, this one on the St. Louis Cardinals.
We discuss the possible repercussions of the Cards’ outbreak, along with another brawl involving the Houston Astros, the investigation of Tyler Skaggs’s death, and Cleveland Indians pitcher Zack Plesac breaking the COVID-19 protocols he was touting a month ago.
During our segment, I didn’t know what touched off the Astros’ brawl with the Oakland Athletics. But apparently, the trigger was Houston coach Alex Cintron insulting the mother of Oakland outfielder Ramon Laureano. Not cool, Cintron. Leave the mothers out of it.
You can listen to The WISE Guys from 3 to 6 p.m. ET streaming on wisesportsradio.com or the TuneIn app. Locally in the Asheville area, dial up 1310 or 970 AM and 102.9 FM.
Thanks to WISE Sports Radio for allowing me to post this on my site, along with Mars Hill University (which sponsors the stream) and Vistanet for sponsoring my MLB segment.
