WISE Sports Radio football talk: 2022 NFL coaching carousel, Wild Card playoffs begin

Successful recording! After a couple of strikeouts, my recording app, computer, and timing all worked out for what should be entirely routine by now. Pardon the baseball analogy introducing football content.

For WISE Sports Radio‘s NFL segment, we discuss Brian Flores’ surprising firing by the Miami Dolphins and the coaching vacancies for the Chicago Bears, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings. Three of those teams are also looking for a general manager. And we take a look at the Wild Card playoff weekend.

I should’ve been prepared for the question, but Charlie Metcalf caught me a bit off guard by asking who I think would win the Super Bowl. This really does seem like a season when any number of teams could do it. But I’ll go with the Buffalo Bills — which means that won’t happen! My heart will be with the Los Angeles Rams and former Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, however.

You can stream The WISE Guys from 3 to 6 p.m. ET on wisesportsradio.com or the TuneIn app. Locally in the Asheville area, you can listen on 1310 or 970 AM and 102.9 FM.

Thanks to Mars Hill University for sponsoring WISE’s streaming broadcast and the NFL segment is presented by D.C. Creasman Jewelers.
