WISE Sports Radio NFL hit: Nov. 14, 2019

Colin Kaepernick has been the big story in the NFL during the past couple of days, leading into Week 11 of the season. The controversial quarterback who’s been blackballed from the NFL because of his activism on social issues is getting a chance to show what he still has in a workout this weekend.

Other Week 11 NFL topics discussed with Pat Ryan and Mike Gore on WISE Sports Radio include Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri and his increasingly diminishing skills, Thursday Night Football’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, Deshaun Watson vs. Lamar Jackson, and the return of Nick Foles to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Is the workout a sincere effort to give Kaepernick another chance in the NFL or is this a public relations stunt meant to placate those who believe Kaepernick should be playing in the league? Personally, I think the Detroit Lions need to give him a look as a replacement for the injured Matthew Stafford.

Also, I didn’t pull that Deshaun Watson factoid out of my ass. Here’s the article by Yahoo Sports’ Chris Cwik where I saw it:

And it was Mark Madden on Pittsburgh’s 105.9 The X who suggested that Antonio Brown catch passes from Colin Kaepernick at his workout.

Thanks to WISE Sports Radio for allowing me to post this on my site, along with Mars Hill University (which sponsors the stream), host Pat Ryan, and D.C. Creasman Jewelers for sponsoring my NFL segment.
