WISE Sports Radio baseball talk: Dodgers injuries, Braves and Yankees struggles, surprising Giants

The New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves were expected to be two of Major League Baseball’s best teams. Yet approximately 65 games into the season, both are disappointing. On WISE Sports Radio, we discussed what’s going on and if each team can turn around with nearly 100 games left to be played.

WISE Sports Radio talk: Gerrit Cole’s filibuster, Deshaun Watson wants Denver Broncos, Jared Goff empowerment

Thursdays on WISE Sports Radio, we usually talk football. But we began this segment responding to Gerrit Cole’s long, bizarre answer to being asked if he uses Spider Tack to get a better grip on a baseball. The longer he talked, the guiltier he looked.

The New England Patriots’ “Spygate” scandal is in the news again, thanks to an in-depth report by ESPN.com’s Seth Wickersham and Don Van Natta Jr. (The involvement of some guy named Trump added some heat.) Aaron Rodgers is enjoying his best life in Hawaii while the Green Bay Packers are having minicamp. And which teams want Julio Jones, now that his trade demand went public?
