The NFL does not want any games to be postponed or jeopardized due to COVID-19 this season and is leaning hard on players and coaches to get vaccinated because of it.
On our WISE Sports Radio football segment, Pat Ryan, Mike Gore, and I talk about that, along with Cole Beasley’s vaccine skepticism, Fred Warner’s big contract with the San Francisco 49ers, and Jerry Jones perhaps seeing the end with his Dallas Cowboys.
And as you heard, we mixed in a little bit of baseball talk with some talk about the Atlanta Braves trading for Joc Pederson and scouts for the Chicago Cubs believing the team could’ve gotten more in return. Sure, maybe the Cubs could’ve gotten a minor league prospect with more upside, but Pederson wasn’t yielding that much in trade.
You can listen to The WISE Guys from 3 to 6 p.m. ET streaming on wisesportsradio.com or the TuneIn app. Locally in the Asheville area, dial up 1310 or 970 AM and 102.9 FM.
