The Cleveland Browns suddenly have a formidable defensive line, adding Jadeveon Clowney to a corps that already included Myles Garrett and Sheldon Richardson. Add Takk McKinley and the Browns could put opposing quarterbacks on notice. That led off our WISE Sports Radio NFL segment for the week.

Pat Ryan, Mike Gore, and I also discussed quarterback Justin Fields and which teams might be interested in drafting the Ohio State star. Would the Carolina Panthers take him after making a deal for Sam Darnold last week? And how many players will skip offseason workouts because of the NFL’s current apathy toward COVID protocols?

I was a bit surprised Buffalo Bills fan Mike didn’t jump on me after saying a team that went 13-3 last season had a major issue with their running game. But apparently, he agreed with me! And man, if the Bills add Travis Etienne or Najee Harris to that offense, watch out. (But Mike’s probably right in that they’ll prioritize defense.)
