Major League Baseball finally got around to punishing the Boston Red Sox for their sign-stealing shenanigans during their World Series-winning 2018 season. But their penalties are nowhere near as harsh as what the Houston Astros suffered for their cheating scandal.

As mentioned, the Los Angeles Dodgers have talked about paying some money to ballpark employees, not baseball operations staffers. But those payouts aren’t nearly enough for those workers to live on.

The #Dodgers have announced $1.3 million in financial assistance to game-day employees. Those Dodgers employees who worked at least 100 hours at Dodger Stadium last year and were expected to work this year will receive one-time payments of $750 or $600, depending on service time.
