Major League Baseball is nearing the halfway point of the 2021 season, so it was a good time to catch up with Clint Domingue on Acadiana’s 103.7 The Game.

Among our topics were our favorite baseball movie, the magnificence of Shohei Ohtani, and the races in the American League and National League West divisions.

I thought we might talk about the Trevor Bauer sexual assault allegations, but was relieved to avoid that topic. Not that I don’t have definite opinions (Bauer shouldn’t be allowed to pitch again this season), but keeping it fun on a Saturday morning — on a holiday weekend — was a better way to go.

Clint does a great job for 103.7 The Game on his show and his pro wrestling podcast. If you’re into pro and college sports with a Louisiana angle, give him a listen. Someday, he might be doing his thing in another market too because he’s really talented.
