WISE Sports Radio NFL segment: Sept. 17, 2020

No sport encourages overreaction more than football. After just one week, one game, fans and media are ready to declare a team a success or failure. And in some cases, that quick verdict is probably justified.

On WISE Sports Radio’s NFL segment, Pat Ryan, Mike Gore, and I discussed the chances of New York Jets coach Adam Gase keeping his job for long, the supposed tension between Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Tom Brady, and the Buffalo Bills’ season-opening win.

As a Detroit Lions fan, I’m ready to ditch Matt Patricia. But once again undertaking a rebuilding project with a new coach and new general manager while quarterback Matthew Stafford’s career wastes away is depressing.

You can listen to The WISE Guys from 3 to 6 p.m. ET streaming on wisesportsradio.com or the TuneIn app. Locally in the Asheville area, dial up 1310 or 970 AM and 102.9 FM.

Thanks to Mars Hill University for sponsoring WISE’s streaming broadcast and the NFL segment is presented by D.C. Creasman Jewelers.
