Killer robots and masked vigilantes on The Podcass!
After talking about a new job (which was an old job), we review the latest Terminator flick, Terminator: Dark Fate, and wonder if we’ve already seen this movie (05:34). Then, we finally get to Watchmen, HBO’s new series that is already fascinating, challenging, and intriguing (16:18).

First, a look at some early storylines like top free agents and Hall of Fame balloting as MLB slides into the offseason (02:50). Then it’s on to the NFL and Week 10 headlines, most of which concerned off-the-field news like quarterbacks and franchises possibly moving (20:57).
Most of the top headlines going into Week 10 of the NFL schedule are happening off the field. Could the Los Angeles Chargers be moving to London? Has Cam Newton played his last game for the Carolina Panthers? Did Mitchell Trubisky really ask for TVs at the Chicago Bears headquarters to be turned from ESPN and Fox Sports because he didn’t want to hear constant criticism?
We discussed that and more on Thursday’s WISE Sports Radio NFL segment with hosts Pat Ryan and Mike Gore. (Mike’s a Bills fan, so we also talked about their chances.)
The WISE Guys were off on Monday, so Wednesday’s baseball segment was a bit longer than usual. That worked out just fine, since there’s already plenty to talk about with MLB’s offseason under way.
Among the topics Pat Ryan and I discussed on WISE Sports Radio were the New York Yankees apparently moving on from shortstop Didi Gregorius, the top free agents available this offseason, the Atlanta Braves bringing back outfielder Nick Markakis and buying out pitcher Julio Teheran, and the Modern Era Ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Detroit Tigers second baseman Lou Whitaker is among the nine players selected and, yes, I had some thoughts on that.
With the end of the World Series and the Washington Nationals shocking baseball with their win, we have lots of baseball talk on the latest Podcass!
